What is more basic to the practice of Pharmacy than the prescription document? For centuries, those little pieces of parchment were the starting point for all of us to begin our contribution of the patient’s care. More recently because of multiple factors – including advances in technology, the opioid crisis, and expansion of telemedicine the dependance upon paper records in general have been abandoned.
