Over the past months we have discussed in this series the many things that need to come together to form your pharmacy’s holistic & unique USP compliance plan. Please remember that since the November 1, 2023, deadline has passed, the USP compounding chapters have become compendially applicable. This is not only regulatorily important but will be scrutinized by both voluntary accreditation bodies (i.e. ACHC, PCAB, & NABP VPP) as well as third party payors.
