Synopsis
It now mid May 2023, and we who compound extemporaneously for our patients know that on November 1, 2022, the USP committee had finally published the two compounding chapters we have been waiting for, USP General Chapters Non-Sterile Preparations, and Sterile Preparations. They will become “official” and therefore enforceable on November 1, 2023. At this point we all have less than 150 days to come into full compliance with these important documents.
